Jávea Alicante Spain

Javea city lies about 90 km north east of Alicante, in between Denia and Moraira. Javea is divided into two bays- The Cabo San Antonio and the Cabo San Martin. The area enjoys temperatures up to 40 degrees in summer, but not less than 10 degrees during the wintertime. The regions main crops are citrus fruits and the town is especially beautiful and fragrant in the springtime when the orange and lemon trees blossom.

The population of Javea live in three different parts of the city, the village, which lies about 3 km inland, the port and the area around the Arenal beach. The old part of Javea (Pueblo) has still retained some traditionally built houses with balconies. Many restaurants and bars are to be found along the Avenida del Mediterraneo, which runs the length of the Javea harbour area.

Perhaps the most impressive sightseeing point of Javea is the wonderful views from the Cabo San Martin. Walking up a path from Javea harbour. The hill of the bay allows an impressive view on the Cabo de Nao.
